HiFocus 280i neo

The HiFocus 280i neo is a powerful high-precision plasma cutting system designed for automated cutting and marking processes. With a cutting current of up to 280 A, it covers a cutting range of 0.5 to 70 mm (0.02 to 2.76 in) and delivers precise cuts as well as high-quality marking on electrically conductive materials.

The soft-switch inverter technology enables high cutting and marking speeds while maintaining excellent cut quality. Efficient consumable cooling supports long service life and helps reduce cutting costs.

The HiFocus 280i neo can be flexibly combined with
CNC guiding systems, robots, and pipe cutting machines and is also suitable for bevel and underwater plasma cutting. It is designed for a wide range of applications in metal fabrication, vessel construction, mechanical engineering, and steel construction.

The HiFocus 280i neo comes with Contour Cut technology as standard. This enables precise cutting of fine internal and external contours as well as small holes in mild steel.

The advanced Silent Cut technology reduces the sound pressure level when cutting mild steel while continuing to enable high-quality contours and holes.

For O₂ cutting of mild steel starting at 280 A, the HiFocus 280i neo can be equipped with the TorchGuardian Module. The module monitors the condition of the cathode during the cutting process and stops the process in time when critical wear is detected, helping protect the plasma torch.
